隕石の飛来。
それに付随する未知のウイルス。

それは地球上のあらゆる生命を侵し、例外なく死へと導くものだった。

ほどなくして人類は滅亡した。

ーーある研究所の6人を除いて。

かつて日本が存在した地に、ひとつの研究所が残されている。

終わりゆく世界は、いまもなお続いている。
